*Yay! Prada & Prejudice has sold foreign rights into Indonesia and Spain! It sold into France quite some time ago, and I'm ELATED to have THREE countries I've never been to but where you can soon find Prada & Prejudice.

*My daughter, who is 2 1/2, has taken to saying "booty! booty!" and shaking her butt. It's completely hilarious and kind of horrifying and I have no idea where she got it. And when i say shaking her butt, I mean she's dropping it like its hot.

*the YOU WISH cover is now up on Amazon. I really should not have found that so exciting.

*I think FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC is the most depressing book I've ever read.

*I read the a full manuscript the other day as an agent intern and it made me all excited. Because it was fantastic. And I can't wait until the day I can call up an author and be the one telling them myself that it is fantastic. I was already thinking of ways I would work with them to make it perfect and how cool it would be to call up editors and gush about how amazing and marketable the book is and how they HAVE to read it. I hope the agent loves it like I do!

*I have line edits for DRIVEN due December 14th, Revisions for SHATTERED due March 1st, and YOU WISH revision feedback should be in shortly.

*I just saw preliminary contracts for SHATTERED, which is always exciting and makes it all seem so real.

*DRIVEN is my novella title, but I found out the volume is titled AT ANY COST. I <3 it.

*I am reading BEAUTIFUL CREATURES and really enjoying it. FINALLY, a buzzed about book that actually lives up to it.

*WOW, the last episode of GLEE? Intense. Oh, and the part where the pregnant girl was laying on her belly in the matress commercial? Um, yeah, RIGHT.

Spain, France... What is the third foreign country P&P sold to?

Secondly, eeeppp! for Blair being your mood today. Love her!!

Okay, so DRIVEN is a novella. Does that mean it is in a bigger book of other novellas? Or is it just like a short, small novel that will be on shelves? And if/when it *is* on shelves, where can I find it? Like will it be next to P&P & YW in stores??

I can't wait, wait, wait, wait, wait for SHATTERED. end. of . story. 2010 (or is it 2011?) can't come faster for me!! If only for that reason! :-P

*Indonesia....It's in that same sentence, silly!

*It will be with one other novella. It'll be sold in the romance/harlequin section. YOu know how they usually have end caps with the little harlequin category lines? Category books are like magazines. They are out for a month, and then the new one comes in and it swaps out. So yeah, DRIVEN will really only be on shelves for a month.

*2011!

Love Glee. But I thought Beautiful Creatures was definitely over-buzzed. Being familiar with both the Carolina's and Louisiana myself, I couldn't decide which locale the authors were trying to portray. Perhaps a little of both, neither particularly well. Could have used a little chop-chop in length too.

Yeah, by the end, I didn't love it as much as i wanted to-- but at least I *GET* why people love it and think it's well written.

I'm just really picky with paranormals.
