So walkwrite (aka Kristin Walker, whose own book A MATCH MADE IN HIGH SCHOOL is coming out in May from Razorbill) sent me the early word doc version of Razorbill's catalogue.
And it has a summary of Prada & Prejudice.
The first line made me grin:
In this high-concept romantic comedy that's more Cabot than Ibbotson.....
Eee! How much fun is that? My book being contrasted between Meg Cabot and Eva Ibbotson? And I totally agree-- definitely more Cabot, since Ibbotson writes straight historical that has more serious tones, and is totally 100% emersed in the historical atmosphere. My modern-day-Callie just can't let go of the twenty-first century.
