Line-Editing

I am going through the hard-copy of my manuscript, seeing all the things my editor marked up and fixing them.

Sometimes I laugh out loud at the stuff that made it through me, two critique partners, and my agent.

A particular gem?

"I am so not intersected in him".

Yes, INTERSECTED. HA.

Also, I have now deleted 5 cuss words in 50 pages. By that math, I should have 25+ cusswords. My editor is hoping PRADA AND PREJUDICE could be picked up by book clubs or school book fairs, and since the content is totally clean, there's no reason to leave cuss words in it.

It's fun seeing little smiley faces here and there, though. That part makes the rest easier.

Okay, back to work! Just over three weeks to go til deadline.
