Just in case anyone was wondering....after you get published, everything you write does not turn to gold.

Definitely some craptasticness going on in the second half of the draft of PRADA AND PREJUDICE. Luckily, I left myself enough time to address the issues. This draft is due Monday, so I've got another five days of work ahead of me.

Let this be a lesson to all of you: Critique partners are very much a part of the process, no matter what level you are at. If you don't have one, google and look for groups, post a plea on LJ, do whatever neccessary-- but find at least one or two critique partners who can read it all and offers suggestions. You'll be shocked how much you'll discover about your own writing. I've learned more by rewriting than I ever have by writing!

Happy Writing! :-)
