I sent it...

Well, I sent it in to the editor. Three chapters, plus Synopsis. I'm freaked out, becuase once i hit send, it was out of my hands. I spent the last two and a half weeks absorbed by this project...completely engrossed in making it the best I could possibly write.

The good news is, I succeeded. At this point in my writing, I think that I really did write the BEST that I'm capable of. That means if they reject me, I'm ok with it. I didn't half ass it. I wrote the absolute best writing that I could.

The other good news, is that I'm actually semi-confidant. Sometimes I sent off query letters, and I just knew I'd be shocked if someone actually liked it.

Not with this one..I"ll be bummed if they dont like it, but I wont be shocked if they do. Well, thats what I'm telling myself anyways.

So, as I sit here, I think I might check my email every twenty-two seconds. Gah! I dont know how I'm going ot manage this. The two times I emailed her (once to get details, and the second time to get my concept OK'd,) she got back to me in 24 hours. I know a full proposal should take longer then that...but I'm still going to hold my breath until I turn blue.

Well, you know what I mean.

I'll update the SECOND I hear anything. (well, ok the second I'm done freaking out long enough to type. freaking out in a good way or a bad way, I'm not sure.)
